My story.

I experienced much emotional strife in my early life. My hard lessons early in life which initially took the form of a complete loss of self, an anxiety disorder, and unhappy and unsuccessful co-dependent relationships were the stepping stones that brought me to the point where I hit bottom.  I experienced a spiritual awakening that began when I found The Course in Miracles and began studying and learning its premises.  I began to see – simply because I was willing to see another way - that I did not have to be a victim of my life but had the power to change, grow and redirect the course of my life.  And I did.
 

I got help; and actually, help was all around me once I opened to it. I just had to be open to seeing from this new perspective – that 1) our life experiences do not happen TO us – they happen FOR us. That 2) EVERYTHING is a gift regardless of how it looks initially; and 3) life is not a set-up to defeat us at every turn; it is a DIVINE set-up to light our path for us.  And thru this change, growth and study, my life has been transformed.  And the journey does not end of course. I continue to learn - the secrets to living joyously, in a state of contentment and with an inner posture of steadiness and poise – despite what is witnessed in the outside world. 
 

From a spiritual viewpoint, I believe certain assumptions:  1) that we are spiritual beings having a human experience rather than the other way around (we have bodies that die but souls that are immortal).  2) While our bodies and senses tell us we are separate individuals, we are really all one.  3) There is no distinction between what we believe and what we see in the outside world.  In other words, what you think is what you get. 4)  We are here to feel and experience the gift of having a body on this beautiful earth, to remember that we are the same vibrational love as God, and to serve humanity each in our own way.
